These beautiful maasai beaded coasters were handcrafted in Tanzania by women in Iringa. The coasters are crafted using traditional methods and traditional maasai beads. The coasters were purchased in person, for a fair price, then brought to the US to sell.

The women who created this handicraft are part of a project called Mama Dunia, under Live Dunia, which aims to support women throughout the world. Mama Dunia's mission is to create positive impact through sustainable collaboration in Tanzania, specifically with women. We aim to connect impact minded consumers to women's co-ops in Tanzania, expanding the market for their crafts in order to increase income generation, access to education, health care, and empowerment of the entire community.The coasters come in a set of four, all of the same color. Sizes vary slightly.
